Master planning services for the Alabaster City Center are being provided by the Atlanta-based firm of Tunnell-Spangler-Walsh & Associates, in collaboration with C3, LLC, and Whole Town Solutions.

Tunnell-Spangler-Walsh & Associates is an Atlanta-based design firm incorporating three disciplines: planning, architecture, and landscape architecture. TSW believes that every great community starts with a thoughtful plan. It minimizes impacts on sensitive natural environments and should enhance the urbanized environment no matter what the scale or location. We believe that as designers of the built environment, we have a responsibility and an honor to create sustainable and lasting designs for the generations to come, whether that design is of the streets, the blocks or the lot. In every community, the design context is of the utmost importance, and it allows each outcome to become infused with a sense of place.

TSW will be the lead planners for the master planning effort.

C3, LLC is a development enabling entity specifically designed to provide a comprehensive approach to conceptualizing, planning, designing, implementing, and operating mixed-use town centers for New Urban and traditional urban communities, across the full spectrum of development market contexts.

C3 will provide marketing and financial feasibility services for the City Center process.

Whole Town Solutions is a boutique architectural firm focused on using the design of buildings to enrich or create local sense-of-place within a traditional neighborhood context. The firm brings a strong understanding of traditional architectural styles that is invaluable in establishing a sense of authenticity and “place” in new developments.

Whole Town Solutions will assist in defining the architectural character of the City Center area, and will provide preliminary design services for key buildings.
